okay now hold up as much as I hate the majority of the people in my state for passing Amendment One North Carolina is actually a pretty wonderful place. It’s got beaches and mountains and trees. And it’s actually got some of the best fucking colleges in the country. When I was 7 years old, my parents got divorced. My mom could have moved us ANYWHERE in the United States, or we could have stayed in a very tiny Kentucky town. Of all the awesome places we could have lived, she picked Raleigh, North Carolina. Now throughout high school I was like “fuck dis shit there’s nohting to do”, but I soon came to appreciate the physical beauty of my state (just not the people). this might not make sense because i’m ust kind of drunkenly ranting. but okay. yes. goodbye. I love North Carolina. Like I like Raleigh and Charlotte and Asheville and Boone and the beaches. just not the people.
